Let the countdown begin! In no particular order...

MK & Dom Dolla - Rhyme Dust

The viral club anthem Rhyme Dust was absolutely everywhere last year. The brain-child of American DJ and producer MK and Australia's own Dom Dolla, is instantly recognisable with the relentless house beat and pounding bassline. After Dolla posted a preview on Tik Tok at the end of 2022, the audio went viral with over 10 million uses. Loyal fans of MK and Dom Dolla enforced an early release with a relentless "Release Rhyme Dust" campaign, and the song has been dominating clubs world-wide ever since!

Want to see Rhyme Dust played live? You can catch MK on Sat 17 Feb at Riveria Beach Club and at Above, ivy also on Sat 17 Feb. Grab your tickets now!

Kylie Minogue - Padam Padam

Australia's Queen of Pop is no stranger to the Hottest 100, her last appearance in the chart was in 1997 for Did It Again. Now 27 years later, Miss Kylie Minogue is back with one of the hottest songs of the year, Padam Padam. Effortlessly blending her signature pop essence with a fresh, contemporary sound and taking the pop world by storm with the senselessly catchy Padam Padam, Kylie has reinvented herself once again, presenting an infectious dance anthem for the modern era of Aussie pop music on the global stage.

Tate McRae - Greedy

Greedy is the lead single from rising pop-star Tate McRae's sophomore album, Think Later. The 20-year-old viral sensation oozes female empowerment with this pop banger. Having already amassed a staggering 69 Million views on YouTube and topping the charts around the world, the upbeat track with sassy lyrics to compliment is sure to give you a boost of confidence as you bop along to it.

Keen to see Tate perform live? Catch her Think Later World Tour on Fri 8 Nov at Red Hill Auditorium, WA and Sun 10 Nov at Riverstage, QLD. Lock in your tickets now!

Middle Kids - Highlands

Our favourite indie-rock anthem of 2023 is the incredible Highlands. Led by Hannah Joy's haunting vocals, paired with the ambient production and uplifting guitar riffs stands testament to the Middle Kids ongoing evolution and musical prowess. Watch the cinematic music video below, filmed in the highlands surrounding Jindabyne, featuring stunt driving, helicopters, horses and motorcycles.

You can see the Middle Kids live this year at BASSINTHEGRASS Music Festival in Darwin. Grab your tickets now!

Royel Otis - Sofa King

Sydney's indie-pop duo has been making waves in the Aussie music scene and their hit Sofa King is ridiculously catchy. The title track from the bands third EP of the same name, is filled with floating melodies, beachy guitars and a soaring synth-line. Sofa King is an utterly enchanting indie classic, that could be right out of 2010.

Royel Otis are heading on a massive Australian Tour across metro and regional cities in Feb/Mar 2024. Catch them live on the PRATTS & PRAIN Tour, secure your tickets now!

King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Gila Monster

Psyche rock band King Gizz are unstoppable and continue to smash out more albums than we can keep track! Gila Monster is the lead single off their 24th studio album PetroDragonic Apocalypse. The powerful, heavy metal track is a thrash-infused riffage with gang vocals and a guitar solo that takes shredding to a whole new level. Check out the epic, Lord of the Rings inspired music video below.
